PEER SUPPORT

Certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialists provide recovery-oriented, culturally appropriate services that promote engagement, self-sufficiency, self-advocacy, natural supports and are trauma aware. Certification under this policy is designed for individuals who are 18 years or older, who self-identify as having lived experience with the process of recovery from mental illness, substance use disorder, or both, either as a consumer of these services or as the parent or family member of the consumer.

JOB READINESS

Job Readiness offers job training and employment resources to enhance the ability of those reentering society find long term employment opportunities. Resume Building, Mock Interviews, and Job developers are accessible components offered to all participants of this program. Those 18 years or older with a criminal history are encouraged to apply.

EXPUNGEMENT

PCS Family partners with the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office to host a series of criminal record Expungement Clinics throughout La County. This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to community empowerment and legal rehabilitation, providing individuals with the opportunity to clear their records of past arrests and convictions. Participants must not be in violation of any law, on parole, or on probation. Attendees are encouraged to bring relevant case documents, such as court records and minute orders, to facilitate the expungement process. For more information call (909)620-0688.

WOMEN AND CHILDREN

Providing comprehensive, trauma-informed services for women and children, with a strong focus on healing, stability, and long-term family success. Our programs offer individual and group counseling, case management, parenting support, life skills development, and linkage to community resources. We specialize in serving justice-involved women and their children, creating safe, culturally responsive spaces that support recovery, reunification, and overall well-being

CONSTRUCTION CERTIFICATION

Delivers targeted construction safety training and certification, covering courses like OSHA 30, HAZWOPER 40, and respiratory fit testing to low-income individuals, people re-entering society, and those justice-involved or impacted. The organization’s mission is to provide accessible pathways into stable employment in industries where safety credentials open doors.
