Project 2nd chance is a post arrest but pre-charge, meaning that the young person has not been charged with a crime. This program hopes to build their awareness of environmental justice and climate equity and support their exposure to the value of nature and green space s for health, sense of community and positive recreation. Upon completion of the evaluation, a multi-modal determination will be made matching clients who are vulnerable to mental health syndromes (PTSD, Depression, Anxiety) to the correct treatment modality. Clinicians will be trained in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), Cognitive Behavioral interventions, and Seeking Safety\u2019s dual<br \/>recovery program.
